Recently bought a new tent due to the other one being far too small. Popped over to Holmefirth... and after a late night for all of us due to over excitment and mastering the art of a zip we eventually slept. Only made it for one night due to unforseen but then replicated the adventure in the back garden.
Happy days.

The Smiths came over for a catch up, some grub and a walk to the park. We made it round the assault course and it was hard to say who had the most fun.

The hut - Crafnant £5.50 a night!

After a few days in the lakes in which Finn discovered his passion for chucking stones in water he found himself in what could only be described as stone paradise. He loved it. After a cloudy start the sun even came out. When the sun is out in this country it is hard to beat. After a few hours on the beach it was then a half hour drive to the hut in Crafnant for a family weekend of more mooching and stone throwing. Great.

Kicked a cheeky long weekend off with a bit of local mooching. Lost Finn's reigns which explains the 'Princess' candy floss pink things around his chest. Will he ever forgive us? It was either that or stay in the back garden. He'll get over it! Popped over to Derwent of dambuster fame.
