The last day was a wash out but good fun was had by all. The campsite we were going to in Aberdarron was closed due to a flooded field so it was back home but we will be back. Great place.
Just been to Wales for a week. We had intended to make it two but rain stopped play. We stayed just outside Bedgellert which is 15 mins form Snowdon and 20 minutes from Criccieth. It is a stunning place and we were sad to leave but it rained that hard that the sheep were sheltering under our caravan - which was quite disturbing at three o'clock in the morning! We got wet, played on the beach, went for bike rides, went on trains, had picnics, got eaten alive by midges and ate more ice-cream than I have ever eaten in my life - happy days.
Finn is has developed an intense stone throwing habit after a visit to the Eden Valley. There has to be water involved and the bigger the stone the better. Our bike rides all revolve around finding water and big rocks. Good job we live near reservoirs and quarries.
