nothing to do with us

This really was not the work of our hands. Finn picked my cap up arranged it on his head and then started to tuck in. Wearing the cap back to front all made sense when he stuck his head into his plate.

Weekends are ace!!

The only problem with weekends is that they go too darn quick. Alfie Berry's 4th birthday was followed by a mum and dad night. Went to see 'No Country for Old Men' and then enjoyed a much needed lie in on Sunday. Took part in the RSPB 'Garden watch' (rock and roll) which required us to watch the birds in our garden for an hour. Big mug and coffee and a bacon and egg sandwich helped things along. We made the most of a dry Sunday and went out exploring along the canal feeding the ducks (and Finn) along the way.

Gladwell towers

At long last we have made it in to our new abode. The moving day went without too many hiccups thanks to mums and dads and dave selby - we can't thank them enough! We did it ourselves and couldn't have got another thing in the 3.5 tonne van and four cars that we had to make use of during the move. We have spent the last week and a half settling in assembling flat pack furniture and generally getting use to the extra space. The dust is beginning to settle but to be honest it feels like we are on holiday. This is the view from the back and we pinch ourselves everytime we look out of the window. Great days!
