up, up and away

Made it up to the Hole in the Wall on the way up to Helvellyn. This is the view up the Grisedale Valley.

As Finn was treating me like a horse it was time to make him look like a jockey. Riding in the Keswick Gold cup it's Lester Pigfoot!

Climbed up Barrow from Braithwaite just outside Keswick.

The caravan in the Eden Valley is great for many a reason but one that Finn has been kicking the pants out of is the decking. We needed at least four wheel changes on his walker while we were there.

Haweswater

Our first day out was to Haweswater to see Englands Golden Eagles but .lLow cloud put a stop to that. We had a picnic by the the water which was buttytastic!

Lakes part iv

After our visit to Bucks we had a cheeky few days in the Lakes. Time for plenty walking, crawling and climbing... gulp.

Went down Buckinghamshire to meet the most recent addition to the Sparkes clan and to celebate Charlie's birthday. We were also lucky enough to stay in the VIP suite at the Officers' Mess at RAF Halton. It cost £35 a night - £10 cheaper than the travel lodge!!
